margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><strong>convert physical certificates into electronic mode.<\/strong>\u00a0The client has to surrender the certificates along with the Demat Request Form (DRF). The DP forwards these to the Depositor, who in turn forwards them to the Issuer. After confirmation from the Issuer, the Depositor will credit the securities in the demat Account<\/span> with Depository Participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Meaning_of_Rematerialisation\"><\/span><strong>Meaning of <strong><strong><strong><strong>Rematerialisation<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(Remat) is the process whereby a client can get his electronic holdings of securities converted into physical certificates.<\/strong> The client has to give a written request in the form of an RRF (Remat Request Form) to the DP. The DP forwards the RRF to the Issuer and the Depository. The Issuer prints the certificates and sends them to the client and simultaneously confirms the acceptance of the Remat request to the Depository.
